Dear Friends,

I take this opportunity to update you with our present situation. We have been enjoying our holiday, 10 days from work and time to relax and do things which we are not able to do during working days.

At present, I am busy helping Philip preparing for his confirmation on the 6th of May. Jens and Philip have written the invitation letter both in English and  Danish. I take time to see the addresses of friends, neighbors and relatives to bring these letters to the post office.

Now everyone is at home. Maya who has been at the boarding school in Ødder is with us this week. It  has been nice to have her around who gives a helping hand in the kitchen. Maya loves to cook. Anna and Jenny are planning for a trip to the Philippines this summer and they are doing overtime in order to earn for the trip. Philip takes time now and then to visit friends and plays football with them. Jens is still busy with his job at the office. This week has enabled us to invite some friends to eat a special meal with us.

I have been so happy to use some of my hours to make this homepage. This is still to be improved. But this is a good start. I can see that I have almost piled up work of art about two hundred pieces and I am much willing to find a place where to exhibit them because my place in the house is not much. I have painted about 5 pieces of paintings on canvass this week and it has been very relaxing. When classes start, I cannot anymore take time to paint. I need another long  holiday to have the energy again.  

I have sold some of my paintings and the proceeds go to support a project in my home island in the Philippines. It is a lodging house for students who come from other fishing islands. The other part of the building is being used as cooperative store, an initiative to sell products at the lower cost for the poor community in Hingotanan. I would certainly encourage you to order or buy any of my paintings, if there is something that can be of interest to you.
